Joe’s SELECTIONS – 4-2/5-6-1/7

Race 2

#1 Baby Run to Me – Just ran over similar foes; no reason to think she won’t again.

#6 Ranger’s Funny Girl – On top of her game; form converts to turf routing?

#2 Disones Pretty – Very competitive this might; might trip out from inside post.

Joe’s SELECTIONS – 1/6-2-7-4-3/5

Race 3

#9 Lonely Petunia – Deceivingly good 3rd in debut; edge in crapshoot of a horse race.

#7 B Deb’s Fortune – Showed little with better in debut; longshot trainer…maybe.

#4 Gypsy Janie – Debuts for Ward; trainer good in all the applicable stat categories.

#8 Shaker Baker – Finished willing following slow start in debut; good as any in here.

Joe’s SELECTIONS – 9-7-4-8-5-6-3-2-1

Race 4

#5 The Last Prophet – Arrow pointing up + Corey + sneaky good turf pedigree = edge.

#6 Thamaan – Got back in the win column last out; solid track record in routes too.

#4 Glitnir – Struggling since the claim; takes a significant drop hoping for a spark.

#3 Out of the Trappe – Gets a rare turf try, but fits like a glove with these; consider.

Joe’s SELECTIONS – 5-6-4/3-1-7

Race 5

#6 Budget Cut – 3rd as big chalk in last; savvy rider helps him end winless streak?

#8 Natchez Pass – Finished in front of top choice in last; top 2 stand out in weak race.

#1 Tickety Boo – Respectable form on turf, but dirt runs leave plenty to be desired.

#5 Solid Red Ruby – Runaway maiden winner July 7; not much in two starts since.

Joe’s SELECTIONS – 6-8/1-5-4

Race 6

#7 Crosswalk – His dam was a G3 winning sprinter and sire was a monster as 2yo.

#6 Tenkoz – 1/2 to Brazen Persuasion, who won G3 as 2yo; his dam won debut at 2.

#9 Drop Kick – ½ to Royal Song Dancer, who won twice at 2; well-drawn for top team.

Race 7

#4 Dujac – Drops in fresh with blinkers on; very well intended, go time with this crew.

#5 Mr. Chow – Game win in last and fits like a glove today; go to whoa threat can do.

#3 Mystery Train – Wild card tough to gauge on the drop; scratched with lesser.

Joe’s SELECTIONS – 4-6-5-3/1-7
