One wiener dog race, one corgi race. Top 6 from each race will return for the finals on Saturday, August 23!

Saturday, July 26 | Family Fun Day
Heroes vs. Villians! A fun-filled themed event featuring a costume contest, games, prizes, photo ops, and a Heroes vs. Villains tug of war! Enjoy activities like yard games, coloring books, cotton candy and more. Free T-shirts for the first 50 guests!

Sunday, July 27 | HBPA Scholarship Day
Hosted by HBPA. $1,000 “scholarships,” iPad mini/airpods and Amazon gift card giveaway after each race.
Open to full time students enrolled this summer or fall term in accredited post high school program. Must have valid college ID and Driver’s license to sign up. Must be present to win.

Saturday, August 9 | Community Day
Join us for the annual Community Day at the Races, happening from 10 AM to 4 PM, with all proceeds benefiting the PDJF, an organization that supports injured athletes in the racing community. The day will feature over 30 nonprofit organizations, a National Anthem performance by the GRADSA Choir, and fun attractions like Jockey 360, where jockeys snap photos for charity.
Families can enjoy the Kids Zone, including a birdhouse-building activity for Habitat for Humanity, while adults explore a silent auction, pet adoptions, a book signing by Kim Wickens, and a chance to leave their mark on a living mural. There’s something for everyone—and it’s all for a great cause!

Ellis Park Racetrack
Ellis Park was built by the Green River Jockey Club in 1922. The race track was first named after the famous race starter A. B. Barrett Dade, a director and one of the organizers of the Green River Jockey Club. In 1925 James C. Ellis purchased the track.
