Beside Herself finished third in the Grade 3 Regret Stakes last month at Churchill Downs and takes a class
drop to this non-winners of 3 lifetime allowance level which should be more than enough to help her repeat her
huge effort in a field of 12 one before that at Keeneland on the grass in late April where she won by two and
one-half lengths after leading from the start and earned a field high tying and career-best 89 Equibase figure.
She has inside position to enable Lanerie to get to the lead and control the pace from the start, which is the
same way she earned her other career win in January in a field at Gulfstream Park at this distance on turf.

#7 is Race Driver, with a record of 1-5-0 in eight races this year and last demonstrating he likes to finish
second.
City Drifter shows up every time, having finished first or second in his last three and in four in a row from last
August through October, all turf sprints like this one. He missed by a neck last month in his most recent start
and has the tactical speed to be in the hunt from the start under his regular rider Lopez, who has been aboard
for his last four wins.
Bad Beat Brian finished second in a KEY race from which two other horses, including the winner, came back
from to win. That was at this distance on grass at Churchill Downs and it followed three months off so he can
repeat or better the effort here.
Ian Glass stretched out to a mile when last seen and first off the claim by competent trainer Vanden Berg,
finishing third of 10 after pressing the pace from the start. The cut back will help him to have more energy late
and he’s much better at shorter distances on grass where he earned his last four wins going back to January of
last year.
